Nikon has refreshed its CoolPix ‘S’ series with the launch of the. Topping these for uniqueness is the S1200pj, its next-generation projection camera. Nikon CoolPix S1200pj is the second generation point and shoots with a built in projector. Compared with its S1100pj predecessor, the S1200pj’s projector offers a 40 percent increase in brightness and three times increase its contrast.
- S1200pj sports a brighter 20-lumens pico projector in addition to featuring support for iOS-powered devices. The S1200pj can project images, movies and online content from an iPod, iPhone or iPad. Additionally the S1200pj features a 14.1MP sensor, 5x optical zoom, 3-inch LCD and 720p HD video capture.
- The S1200pj projects images onto external surfaces. Nikon claims that the COOLPIX S1200pj will display projected images and movies at a full 60 inches across.
